If you are planning a BBQ, we can provide you with a whole or half cabrito weighing between 5 and 40 pounds total finished product. We need two weeks notice and a $100.00 deposit prior to processing. Please call for availability before placing your order Our meat is inspected and packaged at a USDA facility in Seneca, South Carolina. The product is flash frozen and we store it in our commercial freezer at negative 10 degrees. All of our animals are pasture raised and free of antibiotics and growth hormones. This wonderfully fragrant plant is beneficial in all ways! Attracting Hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees, it is also a good companion plant used to confuse chewing insects. Looks wonderful in your cottage garden, but its fluffy top-hat flower in elegant red looks formal when the occasion calls for it to. Grows in any soil and can take either full sun, or partial shade. Great in a RAIN GARDEN, or in the damp soil near a dirt pond, this herb is a jack-of-all-trades! Tall, square stems of the mint family tell of its use as a tea herb and the leaves and flowers make a wonderful salad or dessert garnish! Cut back after blooming and, if you don't wish to dry it for teas, you may want to add to your compost, where it encourages beneficial bacteria, or just dry and sprinkle around plants to confuse the "bad" bugs.

A tasty vegetable beef soup recipe, made with meaty soup bones and vegetables. Vegetable Soup: INGREDIENTS: beef soup bones with meat (shanks), 2 pounds 7 cups water 1 can (10 1/2 ounces) condensed beef broth 1 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup chopped onion 3/4 cup chopped celery 1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper 1 bay leaf 2 cans (14.5 ounces each) diced tomatoes 2 cups shredded cabbage 1 cup thinly sliced carrots 1 1/2 cups fresh cut green beans, or frozen 1 1/2 cups diced raw potato 1 teaspoon sugar 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce PREPARATION: Cut meat into small cubes, discarding excess fat. Put in a large stockpot with the bones, water, broth, salt, onions, celery, pepper, and bay leaf. Cover and simmer for 3 hours. Add remaining ingredients; simmer 45 minutes longer, or until vegetables are tender.
