Parson Produce is run by Daniel Parson, who has been farming for 12 seasons, and has managed CSAs for 10 years. A share consists of the freshest, best quality vegetables that are grown at Parson Produce in Clinton from April 20 through November 16. You will get a box each week for a total of 28 weeks of the best we have to offer--a rotating mix of veggies; from greens, lettuce, broccoli, and carrots in the spring to heirloom tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash, and more during the summer. You invest up-front so the farmer can pay for seeds and supplies, and you will get the advantage of your share of the full bounty of the farm. Before you order, check out www.parsonproduce.com for more information about the CSA, the farm, and the farmer. On the website, you will find links to past newsletters and our www.localharvest.org page showing what vegetables are grown. If you sign up through Upstate Locally Grown, you get all the privileges of the regular CSA, plus the convenience of picking up at your convenient locally grown market.
